Here's a great article on a very interesting concept - The American Taliban. That is, a dangerous fundamentalist insurgency taking over a country and turning it into a priest-state.
Very interesting and descriptive terminology, and I wish it had caught on more. Next time you're chatting with a fundie, call him a Taliban!
